Where do you fit in the golden chain of connections-in-goodness?

Mary Ford-Grabowsky, a gifted writer and teacher says this about appreciation...

"Recipients of our appreciation

are apt to express their own gratitude to others,

lengthening the unending, golden chain of connections-in-goodness

that stretches across the world."

The golden chain of connections-in-goodness. What a stunning image!

I appreciate you and your heart opens to appreciate your daughter, whose heart opens to appreciate her roommate, whose heart opens to appreciates her boss, whose heart opens to appreciate the person who checks out her groceries, whose heart opens to send a note of appreciation to the senator who is trying hard to get things done, whose heart opens to appreciate the teacher writing to request more funding for her classroom, whose heart opens to her students.....

The golden chain of connections-in-goodness. It is the butterfly effect with a direct impact on health and wellbeing.

Today, I will increase my own wellbeing, as well as that of others, by opening my eyes and my heart to genuinely notice and appreciate as many people as I can. I will work to lengthen the golden chain of connections-in-goodness.
